Moving Zoom Chat & Channels to Teams Chat

Moving content of your Zoom Chat(s) over to Microsoft Teams Chat is a relatively, but manual, process.

Go to the Zoom Chat or Channel you want copy
Click anywhere inside the white/blank areas of the thread
1. Right-click, choose Select All
2. Right-click again, select Copy (this copies all content to your clipboard)
Open MS Teams, click Chat
Go to the channel you want to move to
Click in the "Type a message" field
Press Ctrl + V (this pastes from your clipboard)**
1. or right-click and Paste
Click the Send arrow/button
Repeat for all Zoom Chat threads you want to move to MS Teams

**If you receive a notification that "your clipboard is full" or similar

You need to copy Zoom Chat content in smaller chunks due to the amount of data you're trying to move
In Step 2 above:
- With your mouse click part of the Zoom Chat thread
- While holding the mouse button down, drag to highlight a small "chunk" of your thread
- Repeat Step 2.1 to 6 for each "chunk"
