Installing or Updating Adobe Software
Situations
- Your new request for Adobe software has been approved. They'll need to submit an approval request HERE
- You're an existing Adobe licensee but need to update the software
What you'll need
- Access to the Creative Cloud app
- Your Adobe ID (someone from IT will generate an invite for your when you're new request is approved)
New Request (need software installed)
- IT will grant you access to install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app, from Company Portal on your computer
- The app will not appear for 30 minutes after IT adds you to the appropriate group
- If you already have this app installed, please proceed to the Installing section below
- Once you've installed the desktop app you can install the Adobe title you've been approved for

Ala-Carte: you've requested 1 - 2 Adobe titles

Full Suite: you've requested 3 or more Adobe titles
- Continue to the Installing steps below
Installing, or Updating, Adobe Software
- Open the Adobe Creative Cloud app from your computer (icon is likely on your desktop)
- Login, if the app starts to update, let it update. (if not, got to Step 3)
- After the update finishes there may be a period of 5 minutes where nothing is happening
- If the app doesn't auto-launch after the update, click to open it from your desktop
- Once the app launches
- Sign-in with your Adobe ID
- Click the "Apps" tab
- Choose whatever title you want and click "Install", or "Update"
That's it! If the system says you need to reboot the computer please do so.
